Filou does the only sensible thing at the moment and stays active ! Outside it is damp and cold and in the house the heating didn't work for two days. The problem seems to be fixed now but the house still feels icy. I have a cold now and the cats are nervous wrecks because of the strange intruders in their home who made a lot of noise. We will all need the weekend to recover.

Here's one from the summer... I found it surprisingly difficult to photograph a squirrel running... they're so fast! I sat for ages, waiting, with peanuts as bait ;-)
Thanks for all the likes and comments!

Gut Ding braucht Weile. :)

With Winter gone and May is finally here. It’s nice to know that the heavy April showers have left as well. It’s time to “Spring Into Action” as we plant ground cover, flowers and more trees than I care to count. The longer days are great. Temperatures are such that we can enjoy being outside whether taking a walk or working in the yard. I hope to take and share plenty of photos this season. Gratitude and Kindness grow much like our garden but without the physical labor.
Offshore a large bank of fog drifts parallel to shore, the late afternoon sun lights up the top of the low clouds. Pelicans and sea birds fill the clear sky. A strong wind blows from the west. The southerly swell makes for some pretty good size waves and here the surf meets the cliffs of Ano Neuvo. Expert surfing only here! Pacific Ocean U.S.A.
